Hospice Africa Uganda Kasokoso Outreach Clinic Report
We are excited to share the launch of our new outreach clinic in Kasokoso, a densely populated and underserved slum community in Kampala. This initiative aims to provide essential palliative care services to vulnerable populations in need and extending our reach in the bid to continue Dr Anne legacy of palliative care for all in need in Africa.
During the inaugural visit, we saw several patients for consultation and assessment, enrolling eligible patients into our program.
On the second visit, the team attended to 11 patients, including 4 new cases and 7 follow-up consultations, demonstrating the growing demand for palliative care in the community.
On our third visit, we continued care for 5 enrolled patients and provided additional consultations, highlighting the urgent need for palliative care in this community.

Our team remains committed to providing compassionate, life-changing care to individuals and families navigating life-limiting illnesses. We believe that increased community awareness and support will enable more patients in need to access our services. Our goal is to offer not just medical support, but also dignity and hope to those we serve.
We have since continued providing regular outreach clinics, expanding our services to meet the growing demand for palliative care in Kasokoso. We are grateful for the support of our donors through GlobalGiving, which enables us to make a tangible difference in the lives of patients and families in this community.
