Dear friends,
thank you for supporting Sevil!
Sevil is a 17-year-old cancer survivor who needs a special bone implant to save her leg. This implant is quite sophisticated as it grows with the leg. It should be designed individually for a person who needs it. That’s why it can be produced only by leading companies like Implantcast GMBh from Germany. And it is really very expensive: more than 50 000 dollars.
Unfortunately, the fundraising campaign is still active. With all the donations we received through GlobalGiving, other platforms, many events organized to help Sevil in addition to the donations given directly to the girl’s mother we have a bit more than one third of the required amount. It doesn’t mean that we give up. It means that we continue working.
Good news is that Sevil still has some time to wait. Meanwhile, the girl met a lot of good people like you who joined their forces to help her. For example, the picture you can see here is one of Sevil’s dreams come true. A famous Ukrainian designer organized a professional photo shoot for her and prepared a collection of children’s clothes 30% of the sale of which will go for the implant.
We will let you know as soon as we get the implant for Sevil. We are committed to help this girl not to lose her leg. Thank you for your contribution!
