As difficult as it was, Callie faced her attacked in court in Spain. Because of your donations, her counselor was sitting right beside here. He was found guilty of sexual assault and was put in jail. Callie feels like justice has been served but she still has nightmares and is afraid to go any place alone. She is young and with counseling and time, she is going to be alright.
Here is a note from Callie:
"I was so afraid to walk into the courtroom. I was shaking and crying when I saw him. If Sara (Callie's counselor) hadn't been with me I couldn't have walked in. The judge was really nice. He believed me. I was so afraid he would not believe me but he did. I hope he goes away for a long time so he doesn't assault someone else."
