Since the middle of February through May 31st, we were able to provide 5 battered mothers with bus tickets and train tickets for themselves and their children to get from danger to safety because of your generosity.
Most of these were used after we had gotten these families back to an entry point in the USA to their final destination, most often back to their parents homes or into a domestic violence shelter.
We know that the rest of the tickets will be used this summer as even more battered mothers flee home to the USA for safety with their children.
