Dear Donors,
On Monday the 2nd of March, after a series of situation assessment meetings on site and in our office, Reach Out went to Douala, the economic capital of Cameroon, to acquire all materials to start two hair dressing ventures thanks to all your generous donations.
For Itsa it was a great improvement, she had been selling tomato and pineapple for a very short profit, and lately trying her luck with pineapple juice, we advised her to keep on with the juice as she is having the hairdressing. She is a 17years orphan with a 5 year old child; and she is right now making more money than in any other time in her life thanks to you.
With Becky all of us took more time to deliberate, she has been doing great on her mobile provisions store and we were even afraid of destroying a functioning business for a new venture, with the risks that this can have. The circumstances took the decision for us as Becky lost the good spot where she was doing business and her profits went dramatically down, she will definitely move to a skilled venture more reliable over time (and life-long dream) and she can complement with some compatible items of her provision’s business (phone credit for example) to increase the revenues. Her proven hard working nature and business expertise will be her best avail.
This should not be a good bye, you can keep updated on this project and many others through our facebook page: www.facebook.com/reachoutcameroon
Thank you, a million times thank you. They will not let us down.
