Thank you so much for your kind donations to our Brew Monday campaign.
This year it was a little subdued as without the pandemic we would have had a physical presence at London Mainline Railway stations and other places, giving away T-bags (Kindly donated by PG Tips) and encouraging people to take the time to talk to each other and connect. However, as always, in adversity comes innovation!
Your donation helped us develop a "Time to Talk : Time to Listen" programme which enables us to take our Samaritans listening skills and wellbeing expertise into the workplace via Zoom/Teams etc. This has been incredibly successful and many businesses have participated, enabling their staff to look out for eachother and keep connected during this trying time. It goes from strength to strength and we are delighted to be able to reach out to more and more people in this way.
Thank you once again, as you can see your donation has enabled us to find a new way to support people who are struggling and pass on our skills to their friends and colleagues to give them confidence in how to really listen and help.
