Summary

Moms living in rural Haiti struggle to survive and provide for their children. With incomes of less than $1/day, devastatingly difficult choices are made. By helping Moms with basic needs, you are helping babies and families not only survive, but thrive. This microproject is specifically for swaddling blankets, distributed through our collaboration with the Maternal Health Clinic at Real Hope for Haiti. All babies deserve to be clean, dry, and healthy, your support makes this possible.

Challenge

All babies deserve basic needs like food, clothing, and diapers. This project will provide swaddle blankets and clothes for these children.

Solution

By providing Real Hope for Haiti with basic needs, caregivers are able to focus on caring for the children. The children will heal faster and be healthier when they can be warm and dry.

Long-Term Impact

As our partner organizations in Haiti continue to have their basic needs solved, they are able to save funds and plan for future improvements in their care. This can mean adding educational programs, offering better healthcare, improved quality of food (more protein!) - all steps that set these babies up for long term survival and productive members of society.
