Respected Donor Namaste!!
Many Greetings from RSKS India!
We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
In the lack of awareness of girl and women education in rural regions, girls and women remain uneducated and can't be progressed. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has taken initiative for women's educational development. In order to make rural women educated, the organization runs ''Udaan'' school. The organization strives to eradicate uneducation of women in rural areas through Udan that has brought some changes in the regions.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, is providing education to 15 uneducated women in ideal village Bhanwta in Pisangan block. These 15 women are getting middle level education in Udan by learning to read and write alphabets along with basic mathematics that makes them able to calculate. Now, these women are able to read newspaper and do calculations. Ganes competition was organized in Udan for the students. All of the women enjoyed the activity and played several games as chair race, spoon race, kho-kho, etc. The best among the participants was awarded to encourage all of them.
We have plan to get these women registered for 8th standard district level examinations and teach them so that they may pass the examination. We will appoint a coordinator to deal with the government and district education board who will complete the required procedure of the application so that these women can give examination. All women are doing hard work to pass 8th standard that will bring positive result in the future. One of the activists of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan had conversation with one of the women and came to know about her story of success.
54 years old Ramati who learns at Udan is aware of education even in this age of life. Although, she was aware of education in her childhood, but being married at an early age restricted her in the household chores only. Now, Ramati has got an opportunity to learn and be educated in this age of life through Udan. In the beginning, when she started going Udan, the society and family members made fun of her, but she didn't care at all and kept going Udan regularly. Today, she knows to read, write and to make basic calculations of daily routine. Ramati thanks Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and GlobalGiving Foundation from the bottom of the heart for providing her an opportunity to be educated in this age of life.
Thanking you for your kind cooperation and financial support. Without your generous donations it is very difficult for us to '' Be A Hero; Educate Women in Rural India !!''
