Dear Donors, Namaste,
Greetings from BASS, India.
We are immensely grateful for your generous donations to our microproject “Empowering Cow Farmers with Modern Tools – India,” which has now concluded on GlobalGiving.
This project was dedicated to aiding cow farmers in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh by providing them with essential modern tools such as chaff cutters and milking machines. Our aim was to boost productivity, enhance milk yield and quality, reduce labor, and improve the overall health of cows. The initiative also included training in various dairy farming techniques.
Although we only raised $292 of our $10,000 goal, the project succeeded in highlighting the critical role of modern tools in elevating the efficiency and productivity of dairy farming in India.
With the funds available, we were able to distribute a limited number of chaff cutters and milking machines to two deserving farmers in V. Ramapuram Village, Chittoor district. These farmers have since reported significant benefits, including easier work processes and improved yields, thanks to the machines. They extend their heartfelt gratitude to all of you.
The need, however, remains substantial, and regrettably, the project has been retired without the necessary funds to fully realize its potential.
We kindly request your continued support for our next project, which aims to empower girls to pursue education. Your help can make a profound difference in their lives.
