This micro project will provide a basic laptop for the use of all of our students who must do internships or practical work in the countryside and need to record their research and prepare their presentations while working in the field where there are no internet cafes or access to computers.
Our students of scarce economic resources do not have the means to buy the laptops required by the universities and institutes when the students travel to countryside communities to do their practical training or internships as in the case of our nursing students and medical students. A laptop is required so that the students can record their research and prepare their presentations when they are finished their practical studies.
The project will purchase a basic laptop that the students can borrow for the time they are doing their practical studies and internships. With a basic laptop the students can use Excel, Word and PowerPoint to record their information and prepare their presentations while working in the countryside. This is a requirement for their graduations.
Our students will be able to complete their studies and graduate on time so they may begin to work in their fields of study to improve the health care in Bolivia and to better their economic situations. They will be able to lift their families out of poverty and also provide better health care and health education.
