Help us spoil our baby Marmosets

A microproject by DAKTARI Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage

The Marmosets of DAKTARI, King Kong and Princess Leia have had 2 adorables babies! These new infants were really unexpected, what a surprise to discover them one morning! Thus, this project will help the whole familly for 1 year, providing extra food, care and extending the enclosure, in order to have an appropriate area for 4 Marmosets, rather than only 2.

We have a number of beautiful and interesting animals who have come to live at DAKTARI, for our Marmosets it is because they were previously kept as pets and do not know how to survive in the wild. We spend a great deal of time and money on housing, feeding and taking care of these animals who would have no future without our help. It is really great to have 2 more babies at DAKTARI! It is also means that we will need extra food for them and to make their enclosure bigger for their happiness.

Good quality food is expensive, but we really aim to provide the animals with a natural, nutritious diet that is similar to what they would eat in the wild. We also want to make their enclosures as enriching as possible so that they don't get bored. Although they are only small animals, they really need a lot of space. Your donation will contribute towards keeping the baby marmosets happy and healthy.

Long-Term Impact

These 2 young babies Marmosets have their whole lives ahead of them. With your help we can keep them happy and include them in our educational program to teach the local underprivileged children about their environment and the animals. This teaches them about reproduction, wildlife and the importance of protecting the animals.
