Ashley is living with Jacob in a domestic violence shelter after they escaped abuse in Bolivia last month. Ashley has been able to secure a job and find day care for Jacob. Her parents gave her some money to help her move into an apartment but she is $600 short.
Ashley's husband in Bolivia became very abusive and she was forced to flee home with her son Jacob last month. She has worked hard to secure a job and day care for Jacob, but she still needs an additional funds to be able to move into an apartment.
Ashley and Jacob will be able to begin over again at home in the USA in their own apartment and live violence free lives.
The project serves 500 women per year empowering them to find alternatives to a life of violence so their children grow up in violence free homes with their self-esteem in tact with the hope of stopping the cycle of violence in future generations.
