Dear supporters,
You have made our project a success and we are happy to report that we have reached our goal and are able to purchase supplies needed for one year of art classes for our Dream of Art project. On June 27, 2013, the directors of Rock-Paper-Scissors Children’s Fund will return to Vietnam for two months to begin the implementation of all of our projects.
We are very excited to see the children we met while volunteering there in 2011-2012. This year we will be meeting new kids in Hue and Hanoi as we start to develop 2 new art programs in these cities. We have heard from friends in Vietnam, that our past students have been anxiously waiting for us to return. We look forward to seeing and providing art supplies to the kids living at the Hoa Yen orphanage in Cam Duc once again, and providing them with new and exciting art projects.
We continue to develop partnerships and receive advice and guidance from wonderful artists here in Rhode Island where we are based, as we are always looking for new and exciting projects to do with our students. We are preparing for a very successful summer, meeting new and wonderful students; and sharing with them the beauty and potential of art.
Thanks to all of you, the kids in Vietnam will have an opportunity to paint, draw and create!
The Rock-Paper-Scissors-Children’s Fund Team
