Dear Friends,

Thank you for supporting the work of the Afghan Institute of Learning and its efforts to give women and girls sewing skills so they can provide for their clothing needs and earn income.

AIL's sewing classes are very popular and the machines get a lot of use. Staff are adept at making repairs but unfortunately some sewing machines have reached the end of their useful life.

Thanks to you, we will be able to replace them with new ones very soon. We will let you know as soon as new machines have been purchased. Meanwhile sewing classes are continuing and women are graduating with a useable skill that will improve their lives.
