This project will give 3-year-old Immaculate, born with deformities in both ears, the chance to hear for the first time. Surgeries on both ears will restore her hearing, enabling her to understand her family, attend school, and interact with others. She currently depends on her mother shouting close to her. Your support will transform her development, learning, and quality of life, offering hope to her and her impoverished family.
This project addresses the problem of congenital malformation of both ears leading to hearing loss in 3-year-old Immaculate, whose ears are completely sealed with no normal air passage. She cannot hear properly, struggles to understand her family, attend school, or communicate with others. Assistive devices are ineffective and frightening for her. Without surgery to open both ears, she risks delayed cognitive and social development, isolation, and severely limited learning opportunities.
This microproject will fund urgent surgeries to open both of 3-year-old Immaculate's completely sealed ears, creating normal ear passages so she can hear. It will also cover follow-up medication and care until fully healed, enabling her to communicate, attend school, and interact with others. By restoring her hearing and supporting recovery, the project ensures her cognitive and social development at this critical age. If part of this fund remains , Prince will be given a hearing device too.
By funding Immaculate's ear surgeries and full recovery, this project will have lasting effects on her life. She will gain the ability to hear, communicate, and learn, unlocking her potential for education and social development. Improved hearing at this critical age will prevent long-term cognitive delays and social isolation. Her family's quality of life will also improve, as they can interact with her normally and support her growth. This intervention lays the foundation for a healthier, more
