Aloha Friends,
Great news! The nurseries here at Na Piko are up and are ready to welcome some new little residents. We are so excited by how they turned out, and can already forsee the thousands and thousands of baby trees they will be home to.
There is still a lot of work to do, but this was a BIG step forward in helping us reach our goal. Food soverignty and equality are a real, daily battle for Hawaiian families, and we want to get fruit trees and knowledge into the hands of the community as soon as possible.
Na Piko's nurseries are just the first step. Now we need to continue fundraising and working hard here in Hawaii to bring food, environmental, and social justice to the islands!
Mahalo nui loa,
