A year of nutritious food for Bodlyson and Kenson

A microproject by International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)
A year of nutritious food for Bodlyson and Kenson

This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Bodlyson and Kenson. Bodlyson and Kenson were abandoned by their parents after the 2010 earthquake. Both were taken in by the Hands Together to Defend the Children orphanage, and now they do everything together - they're the best of friends. With your help, they'll spend the next year eating three nutritious meals a day together so that they can stay healthy and grow up strong!

Following the effects of tropical storm Isaac and Hurricane Sandy in Haiti, the cost of food has almost doubled. This makes it far more difficult for the orphanage to buy the food it needs. Without your help, Bodlyson and Kenson may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving them more vulnerable to illness.

By donating today, you'll help us provide the food Bodlyson and Kenson need to stay healthy.

Long-Term Impact

A healthy, balanced diet prevents illness and promotes healthy growth. By providing the nutritious food Bodlyson and Kenson need, you're preventing illness and helping them grow up strong!
