A year of meals for Wisly

A microproject by International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)
A year of meals for Wisly

Summary

This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Wisly . Wisly's dad died in the earthquake, leaving his mom to look after ten children. She couldn't provide for them, so she abandoned Wisly and two of his brothers at the orphanage. Despite this, Wisly is one of the orphanage's most out-going kids - he LOVES posing for photos. But without nutritious meals to keep him growing, Wisly's future will be bleak.

Challenge

As an orphan, Wisly is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There isn't a nationwide child protection service operating in Haiti to provide for his basic needs. That means that, without your help, Wisly may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving him more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.

Solution

By donating today, you'll help us provide the food Wisly needs to stay healthy.

Long-Term Impact

A healthy, balanced diet prevents illness and promotes healthy growth. By providing the nutritious food Wisly needs, you're preventing illness and helping him grow up strong!
