This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Nefky. Nefky is thirteen years old. After his dad died, his mom couldn't afford to care for Nefky and brought him to the HTDC orphanage. Despite all he's been through Nefky is a helpful and responsible child who loves to draw. But without nutritious meals to keep him growing, Nefky's future will be bleak.
As an orphan, Nefky is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There isn't an effective nationwide child protection service operating in Haiti to provide for his basic needs. This means that, without your help, Nefky may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving him more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.
