Children  Haiti Project #21994

A year of meals for Nathaelle

A microproject by International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)

This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Nathaelle. Nathaelle was abandoned at birth and has spent her life living in an orphanage. Despite the challenges she's faced Nathaelle dreams of becoming a nurse. She always helps take care of the younger kids, and the orphanage staff think of her as a younger sister. But without nutritious meals to keep her growing, Nathaelle's future will be bleak.

As an orphan, Nathaelle is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There isn't an effective nationwide child protection service operating in Haiti to provide for her basic needs. This means that, without your help, Nathaelle may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving her more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.

By donating today, you'll help us provide the food Nathaelle needs to stay healthy.

Long-Term Impact

A healthy, balanced diet prevents illness and promotes healthy growth. By providing the nutritious food Nathaelle needs, you're preventing illness and helping her grow up strong!
