Like many of the children at HTDC, Kristelle was underweight when she arrived at the orphanage. Food prices are high in Port au Prince, and after Kristelle’s mom left her dad simply couldn’t afford to feed her anymore.
Although it made him very sad Kristelle’s dad left her in the care of the orphanage but they also struggled to provide the food she needed.
Now, thanks to you, Kristelle enjoys three nutritious meals every day - and we’ll be able to keep providing the food she needs to stay healthy and keep on playing.
Kristelle has a bright future because you gave. There are so many things you could have spent your hard earned money on, but you chose Kristelle. Thanks so much.
