A year of meals for Bodlina

A microproject by International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)
Vetted

Summary

This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Bodlina. Bodlina was brought to the orphanage with her brother, Bodlison, after her father was killed in a motorcycle accident and her mother died of an illness. She's a lovely, energetic girl who loves to play with the other kids at the orphanage. But without nutritious meals to keep her growing, Bodlina's future will be bleak.

Challenge

As an orphan, Bodlina is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There isn't a nationwide child protection service operating in Haiti to provide for her basic needs. That means that, without your help, Bodlina may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving her more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.

Solution

By donating today, you'll help us provide the food Bodlina needs to stay healthy.

Long-Term Impact

A healthy, balanced diet prevents illness and promotes healthy growth. By providing the nutritious food Bodlina needs, you're preventing illness and helping her grow up strong!
