A Year of Food for Bodlina!

A microproject by International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)

Summary

This project will provide a year of nutritious meals for Bodlina. Bodlina was brought to the orphanage with her brother, Bodlyson, after her father was killed in a motorcycle accident and her mother died of an illness. She's a lovely, energetic girl who loves to play with the other kids at the orphanage. With your help, we'll be able to provide her with the nutritious food she needs to grow up healthy and keep thriving!

Challenge

Following the effects of tropical storm Isaac and Hurricane Sandy in Haiti, the cost of food has almost doubled. This makes it far more difficult for the orphanage to buy the food it needs. Without your help, Bodlina may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving her less healthy and more vulnerable to illness.

Solution

By donating today, you'll help us provide the food that Bodlina needs to stay healthy.

Long-Term Impact

A healthy, balanced diet prevents illness and promotes healthy growth. By providing the nutritious food Bodlina needs, you're preventing illness and helping her grow up strong!
