Thanks so much for supporting evacuees like Marilyn.
Marilyn is fifty three years old and she lives with her four children in Banaba, just outside Manila. They can’t afford to live somewhere safe, and their house is dangerously close to a river.
Every year there are typhoons and floods, and Marilyn’s house is often inundated.
Marilyn lives in constant danger and fear. She desperately needs her nearest evacuation center to be finished so that her family has somewhere safe to go when the worst inevitably happens again.
And now, because of your generosity, we’ll be able to continue work on Marilyn’s evacuation center. Although this microproject wasn’t fully funded, we’ll still be able to use your kind donations to purchase some of the supplies needed for work like rendering, and this can continue one brick wall at a time. Thank you so much.
