Thanks so much for supporting evacuees like Lee.
Three year old Lee lives with her mom and younger brother in Banaba, just outside Manila. Lee’s house is poorly constructed and is dangerously close to a river. Every year there are typhoons and floods, and Lee’s house is often inundated.
Lee’s mom lives in constant danger and fear. She desperately needs her nearest evacuation center to be finished so that her family has somewhere safe to go when the worst inevitably happens again.
And now, because of your generosity, we’ll be able to continue work on Lee’s evacuation center. The whole top floor of the building, and some of the middle floor, needs finishing, and this will take time, but work can now be started and this will have an immediate impact protecting Lee from floods and typhoons. Thank you so much.
We’ll send you updates about how your gift is changing the lives of Lee, her family, and families like theirs right here on GlobalGiving. Should you ever have any questions about how we’re using your donation, please don’t hesitate to email Andy@IDVolunteers.org. We’d love to hear from you!
One last time, thanks so much for ensuring that Lee will have a safe refuge when she needs it most.
