Thanks so much for supporting evacuees like Antonio.
Antonio is 74. He lives with his three grandchildren in a house made from a few sheets of tin and plywood perched on a riverbank. This is already hard work and when floods come, and they have to evacuate, Antonio struggles to get the kids to safety in time.
But now because of your generosity, we’ll be able to provide a large rescue boat for Antonio and his family.
This boat will be there to ensure that Antonio and his family can be safely evacuated during floods. This will protect their lives during disasters and ensure that they sleep a little easier when heavy rain is on the way.
