Beautiful Isabela lives in the island of San Andres with his mother, when she was pregnant she had an infection so when Isabela was born she had one leg shorter than the other and her fingers were together and had no separation. Even though it has been difficult they are a happy and amazing family. Give Isabela the chance to walk!!
There are 800.000 disabled people in Colombia that need external help to walk. like crutches or wheelchairs . By giving children a prosthesis they will walk for the first time, develop properly and grow up with dignity.
Isabela will have the chance to walk, play, run and be happy. Her mother will be able to give her a more prosperous future and she will develop as a normal kid. Makavir Kmina provides prostheses to 350 amputees per year. This project will provide a prostheses to Isabela, with it she will have a regular life and the opportunity to go to school and improve her living conditions and help her family. She will no longer need help to do every activity and will become independent having the opportunity to go as far as she wants in life. In the long run she will be a healthy kid, a working woman who will have in a future a happy family.
