This Christmas, give more than a meal. Your donation will provide people experiencing homelessness in Chile with a warm dinner, company, and the joy of belonging. No one should spend Christmas alone
In Chile, more than 19,000 people live without a home. For them, Christmas can be one of the loneliest nights of the year. While most families gather to share food and joy, people experiencing homelessness often face that evening in isolation, with little to eat and no one to share it with. The absence of companionship and care deepens their sense of exclusion and invisibility.
This project will provide over 2,300 Christmas dinners for people in Hogar de Cristo's Shelters and Community Homes across Chile. Your support helps us serve warm meals, decorate tables, and create a welcoming, dignified celebration. Each dinner includes a full meal and a small gift, but above all, it offers belonging and hope. Your donation becomes the secret ingredient that turns loneliness into humanity.
These Christmas dinners go beyond one night of food and warmth. They help rebuild trust, restore self-worth, and strengthen the social bonds that are key to long-term reintegration. When a person who has been forgotten feels remembered, it sparks motivation to reconnect with life and community. Over time, these experiences nurture hope - the first step toward rebuilding a dignified and independent future.
