GG Rewards: How GlobalGiving Promotes The Most Effective Nonprofits

Get to know GlobalGiving’s system for measuring and rewarding nonprofit effectiveness, GG Rewards.


 
Wouldn’t it be great if your nonprofit could spend less time fundraising, and more time focused on your mission? That’s our goal, too.

It’s why GlobalGiving, itself a 501(c)(3) organization, created GG Rewards: a way to drive more money to more effective nonprofits.

At GlobalGiving, we believe that the best nonprofits all have one thing in common: They listen to the people they serve, they act on what they hear by testing out new ideas, and they continually learn from their tests, improving their organizations every day. We call this cycle of progress: Listen, Act, Learn. Repeat. And we help nonprofits that Listen, Act, Learn. Repeat. earn more money!

Take our partner Grassroots Uganda, for example: Before they got a grant, they asked women’s groups in their community: “What’s your biggest need?” The women said their village needed a library. So, they built a library. And those very same women now run the library, open to everyone in their community.

Lee at Grassroots Uganda saw first-hand how successful a project could be if it was driven by the people it served. Now, Grassroots Uganda takes this approach with every new project. Bravo, Lee!
