Norah Owaraga

Norah Owaraga is a cultural anthropologist and a development practitioner who holds a master's of science in development management from the Open University. From 1992 to present, she has contributed her expertise on human-centered policy development, program implementation, social accountability, civic education, wealth creation, poverty reduction, land justice, and other issues through academia, civil society organizations, and governmental bodies. Currently, Norah is the Managing Director of CPAR Uganda Ltd, a not-for-profit Ugandan development organization. As an active citizen, she is a humanist blogger who regularly shares her opinions on a wide range of issues through her blog, “The Humanist View," her prime time radio show, “Spectrum Extra,” and other outlets. She is a fellow of the African Leadership Initiative East Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
