Miranda, a former Senior Community Engagement Associate, shared inspiring stories from GlobalGiving’s nonprofit partners, ran GlobalGiving’s social media accounts, and strove to connect donors and nonprofits in the GlobalGiving community. She now manages digital communications for Defense for Children International - Palestine. Miranda is an honors graduate of American University’s School of International Service where she studied international relations and Arabic. Miranda has been a GlobalGiver from many angles—she is a donor, a former intern, and even a nonprofit project leader for Aid Afghanistan for Education. When she’s not scouring the web for stories, Miranda can be found eating breakfast for dinner, reading in a park, and figuring out the best way to get back to the Middle East.
