Merinda served as a GlobalGiving Content Manager. Merinda's journalism background and beliefs about equity led her to communications that support sustainable change. She has also put her ideas into practice through national and community-based development projects in her mother's home country of Solomon Islands. As a Yooper (yes, that's a word) from Michigan, hiking, camping, and anything outdoors are among her pastimes.
