As a GlobalGiving Marketing and Communications Fellow, Janica gets to tell the incredible stories of GlobalGiving partners worldwide and ensure donors have a blissful experience. Janica is the daughter of a teacher and a former Army Major, so her love of the nonprofit world grew from an inherited love of serving people. She is a recent graduate from Indiana University with degrees in Journalism and Fine Arts. When not at work, Janica is likely trying new food or digging through sale racks. She firmly believes age is a mentality, dogs are man’s best friend, and a person should never buy something for full price.
