Isadora Hastings is an architect and Executive Director of Cooperación Comunitaria. Her organization works to increase habitability and decrease vulnerability of homes in rural, Indigenous areas in Mexico. After the damaging 2017 earthquakes in Mexico, Isadora led Cooperación Comunitaria to assess what remained of people’s homes and worked alongside community members to reinforce and rebuild more resilient homes. Isadora was also a 2018 Disaster Feedback Fellow selected by the Disaster Recovery Team at GlobalGiving.
