Irene helps nonprofits around the world fundraise for their causes as Senior Associate, Campaigns and Community. Before joining GlobalGiving, Irene was a digital strategist for various political campaigns and organizations while studying for her master’s degree in ethics, peace, and human rights at American University School of International Service in Washington. She also holds a bachelor’s in political science from the University of Pittsburgh. Irene is passionate about human rights and doing her part to make the world a better place. In her free time, she can be found planning her next big trip, listening to Afrobeats, or searching for the perfect sticky toffee pudding.
