Grace B. Mose Okong'o

Grace founded and directs Hope Foundation for African Women (HFAW). She is also a lecturer in the Department of Gender and Development Studies, School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Kenyatta University. She holds a doctoral degree in Gender and Women Studies with a minor in Anthropology from the State University at Albany, New York. Grace believes that women can be powerful agents of change, so her work involves community mobilization and activism which embraces total community participation as a strategy to break dependence and give women skills to address their own issues.
