Cass Averill is a passionate activist and corporate advocate for human diversity. As Program Manager for the Global Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Symantec his mission is to build a culture of belonging through storytelling, building bridges of understanding, and providing institutional support for all people to be able to bring their full and authentic selves to work (and to life) every day without fear of repercussion. Cass is also the founder and board president of Trans*Ponder, a grassroots completely transgender-founded and led nonprofit that provides support, resources, education, and advocacy for the transgender and gender diverse community and its allies.
