Overview
The 2024 April Little by Little Campaign is a five-day crowdfunding campaign from April 8-12, designed to help GlobalGiving partners worldwide cultivate a robust network of small-dollar donors.
All eligible donations up to $50 per unique donor per organization will be matched at 50% during the campaign until funds run out.
Promotion Bonuses
GlobalGiving will provide promotion bonuses to select partners participating in the April 2024 Little by Little campaign. These bonuses will celebrate your participation, boost project and organization visibility, and provide exclusive learning opportunities.
All Partners, Leaders, and Superstar organizations, with the exception of Indian-banked organizations, are eligible to participate in the campaign. Emerging organizations and GlobalGiving-sponsored projects and Funds are ineligible to participate in this campaign.
All active projects and micro projects associated with eligible organizations will be automatically included on the campaign leaderboard (no opt-in required).
GlobalGiving’s April 2024 Little by Little campaign will begin on April 8, 2024, at 00:00:00 EDT and will end when matching funds run out, or on April 12, 2024, at 23:59:59 EDT, whichever comes first.
The deadline for submitting new projects, project edits, project reports, and project appeals to be approved in time for inclusion in the April 2024 Little by Little campaign was March 28, 2024, at 17:00:00 EDT. For microprojects, check the expiration date as GlobalGiving cannot extend the 90-day time period.
Please allow for 2-3 business days for GlobalGiving to approve project reports, project appeals, and project edits related to the campaign. GlobalGiving cannot guarantee that late submissions will be reviewed in time for inclusion in the campaign.
Disbursement of funds raised and awarded in this campaign will be included in the usual monthly disbursement process.
The April 2024 Little by Little campaign will have a Matching Fund of $200,000 USD.
During the April 2024 Little by Little campaign, all eligible donations up to $50 USD per unique donor per organization will be matched at 50% while funds remain.
Donations will be matched based on the order in which they are received while funds last. Remaining funds will be displayed on the leaderboard throughout the campaign and updated every 3 minutes.
Unique donors are determined using numerous criteria, including name, email address, credit card number, mailing address, and IP address. We are monitoring these and other parameters in our system to ensure that only distinct donors are counted.
For the purposes of calculating matching amounts, donations made in other currencies will be converted to USD. The exchange rate will be estimated at the time of the donation, but may be subject to change until the donation settles with the donor’s bank or credit card. Funds will be disbursed using the exchange rate based on the settlement value of each transaction.
In your GlobalGiving donation manager, donations that count towards your total raised during the April 2024 Little by Little campaign (based on the time the donation was made and the method of payment) will be marked with a plus sign.
GlobalGiving reserves the right to make final decisions on all matters concerning the allocation of the Matching Fund.
Please note that all donations are final. GlobalGiving cannot change the time, date, or status of a donation after it is processed for any reason.
Any activity not in the spirit of requesting separate individuals to support donations is being moderated by GlobalGiving and GlobalGiving reserves the right to permanently disqualify organizations for any attempts of misconduct.
Donations made to a project using any of the following methods will count towards your total raised during the April 2024 Little by Little campaign:
Donations must be made by the account or credit card holder.
Donations received via any other methods will not count towards your total raised during the April 2024 Little by Little campaign. Ineligible donation methods include, but are not limited to: corporate gift cards, physical checks, cash donations, wire transfers, CAF checks and CAF Online, donations made on a GlobalGiving corporate or organizational giving site, and donations made directly to an organization rather than a project
GlobalGiving is a registered nonprofit charity in the United States and England and Wales. Donations made by eligible donors in the United States can be claimed as tax deductible contributions on United States tax returns. Donations made by eligible donors in the United Kingdom can claim Gift Aid (an extra 25% added to eligible donations by the UK Government) when they donate in GBP.
GlobalGiving charges a minimal nonprofit support fee plus a 3% processing fee. For US and UK registered organizations, the nonprofit support fee is 5%; for organizations outside the US and UK, it is 7%. During the April 2024 Little by Little campaign, the fee only applies to the initial donation and not to bonus prizes or matching funds earned. The fee helps cover the costs we incur to promote your organization and projects, to provide you with fundraising training and tools, and to maintain and improve our online technology in order to keep you connecting with new donors.
