For most of us, play is a given. It’s woven into childhood, holidays, and moments of joy we barely think twice about. But for millions of children living in conflict zones, play is often the first thing taken away. When the world no longer feels safe, imagination shrinks, confidence fades, and childhood is replaced by survival.
At Tripwire, we tell stories for a living. But this holiday season, we felt a responsibility to act on one. We’re partnering with The Power of Play to help rebuild something that trauma steals far too easily: a safe place to play. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to fully fund the equipment for a new playground in Jordan. Slides, swings, and shared spaces may seem simple, but for these children, they represent safety, normalcy, and the return of joy.
Every dollar helps turn an empty space into a place where laughter replaces fear and where kids can begin to heal through play. This isn’t about charity for us, it’s about giving childhood back where it’s been taken away. If you’re able to help, we’d love for you to be part of building something that truly matters.
