Welcome to my fundraising campaign to empower women and support vital resources for their well-being. I am dedicated to creating opportunities, providing support, and advocating for the rights of women in our community and beyond.
Namaste. It's me Sita Thapa who has been working in GVI since 2019. I am going to do what i think is one of the hardest treks in nepal, going up 3800m by my self (with no guide!!)
To make it better, if i hit DOUBLE my fundraising target i will face my biggest fear of heights and do the tallest swing in the world.
My mission:
I am committed to fulfilling the needs of all women/girls related to their necessities in the workplaces.To give an instance, resources that need to teach women, materials for sewing project and also provide fare for the girls in SASANE who have to take the transportation to class etc... We believe that by investing in women, we can create positive change and build a more equitable society for all.
GVI has created a structure to support their wishes - teaching English, practical skills such as culinary skills and dress making or similar. To achieve long term independence is the objective, not permanent dependency. The projects run in Pokhara, Nepal depend on charitable donations to continue this. As a matter of course i am doing this campaign as a staff of this company.
