Poverty is the most acute situation for a person because in this situation he/she doesn't have shelter and enough funds to upbring the family. Children of the family live at roadside also spend their lives in poverty. Each day is same for such helpless children and they have to live in rags. They beg at roadside to manage food for two times. Festivals and celeberations are just dreams for such children.
LAKSHY DREAM FOUNDATION with Fundraising the support of Global Giving Fundraising, to bring happiness and joy to the lives of such poor and helpless children & HOME Childrean, has organised Holi celebration. In this celebration, water gun, colors, balloons were distributed to 2000 street children to make their festival colorful. All children were so excited and they started dancing to get the stuffs. The organisation and with the support of the donors, children got food packets, rule, biscuits, chips, kurkure, chocholates, pastry, toys,colours New Dress and they got excited to get all these stuffs. Children play with gulal, had eatables and danced in the celebration. Our activists gave reward and gift to those who danced best. Our activist had conversation with one the children and knew her problems.
There was an 11 years old girl KAVITA KUMARI Her father was a boozer so she depended on others for food. She said that she was hungry for last two days and she had never had such delicious food before that day. She was in rags, so our activist gave her a frock and she was so happy getting it. All poor children thanked Global Giving Fundraising, donors and LAKSHY DREAM FOUNDATION from the core of their hearts. It was the fist time when they celebrated Holi and they expressed their happiness. Our activists also played Holi with them and wished them. Al last, all children thanked Global Giving Foundation and LAKSHY DREAM FOUNDATION
