Imagine being accepted into a life-changing opportunity — and being just one step away from making it real.😨
My name is Andrea Anastacio, I am 14 years old, a student that is engaged in science, and I’m from Lima, Peru. Recently, I was accepted into the Latin America Leadership Academy (LALA), a non-profit organization dedicated to developing a new generation of ethical, diverse, and impact-driven leaders across Latin America.
I was selected to attend the VLB76 Leadership Camp — an experience that brings together young leaders from across the region to grow, collaborate, and create solutions for real-world challenges.
However, there is one obstacle: the program fee is $450, and at the moment, I am just one step away from being able to attend.
Throughout the years, I have invested in my personal and academic growth. I have studied at Alianza Francesa and ICPNA, where I developed language skills, discipline, and a broader global perspective. These experiences have shaped my desire to become a leader who creates meaningful change in my community and beyond, also being a class representative made me learn how to be a leader and listen to every one, because every voice matters.
Outside school, I’ve been teaching kids in my church “Los doce apostoles” about God, making dynamics with my team and studying to learn more about teaching skills to help kids grow with god and accept him on their hearts.
LALA represents the next step in that journey — a space where I can strengthen my leadership, connect with inspiring peers, and transform ideas into real impact, dreaming to be a biologist when I grow up having a big connection with nature and beautiful things around us!
Every donation, no matter how small, brings me closer to this opportunity. And if you are unable to contribute, sharing this page would already mean so much.
Thank you for helping me turn this opportunity into reality 🌎
