These days, a humanitarian crisis is unfolding along Afghanistan’s western borders.
The Iranian government is deporting thousands of Afghan families who fled to Iran for safety after the collapse of the Afghan government and the return of the Taliban. The deportations have intensified as the Iranian regime is accusing the Afghans for espionage for Israel during the 12 day Israel-Iran war.
Among the deportees, according to media reports, nearly 6,000 children have been left stranded at the Herat–Mashhad border without their parents, under the scorching heat. Temperatures reach up to 40°C, with no clean water, shade, and shelter. The images of this situation shake the conscience of every conscientious human being.
Bamyan Foundation, with years of experience working in crisis situations, stands with the people once again. With your support, we can urgently provide drinking water, food, baby formula, and emergency aid for these helpless families.
These people were our neighbors, colleagues, and friends just yesterday; they faced the cruelty of the Taliban then, and now they face the pain of exile. Our help may not heal all their wounds, but it can quench the thirst of a child, ease a mother’s pain, and keep their hopes alive.

«با هم، رنج غربت و بی‌پناهی را سبک‌تر کنیم»
دوستان عزیز
این روزها در مرزهای غربی افغانستان غم بزرگی جریان دارد. هزاران خانواده مهاجر که پس از سقوط افغانستان و آمدن طالبان برای امنیت به ایران پناه برده بودند، حالا ناگهان به‌بهانه « اتهام جاسوسی» پس از جنگ ۱۲ روزه علیه ایران، طی چند روز گذشته از ایران اخراج شده‌اند و این، خود زمینه‌ساز فاجعه‌ای انسانی شده است.
در میان این مهاجرین اخراج شده طبق آمار رسانه‌ها نزدیک به ۶ هزار کودک، بدون والدین‌شان، در گرمای طاقت‌فرسای تابستان در مرز هرات و مشهد سرگردان‌اند. دمای هوا تا ۴۰ درجه می‌رسد، بدون آب، بدون سایه، بدون پناه. تصاویر این وضعیت، دل هر انسان آزاده‌ای را می‌لرزاند.
