When their story is being told, their mothers are not left behind. As we touch the life of a boy child, we touch the mother's heart. We help to raise the boy child to become a responsible man who will one day have a family. We want to create a world where every boy child has the opportunity to thrive, grow, and achieve their full potential regardless of their background, ensuring they become responsible, compassionate, and empowered individuals. Boy Child Foundation was born out of a passionate commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of boy children in Lagos State, Nigeria, and globally. Our founder, Simon Osamwonyi, a visionary and compassionate individual, recognized the pressing need to address the challenges boys face in the region. With a burning desire to uplift and empower them, he embarked on a mission to create a better tomorrow for the young boys representing our nation's future. In recent years, the issue of domestic violence has become so challenging to the extent that no day goes by without a report of domestic violence in some families. For many years, the boy child has been sidelined by some organizations that promote the training and empowering of the girl child. The world has concentrated on the training and empowerment of the girl child to the detriment of the boy child. When the girl child is trained and empowered, they marry the boy child who may not have received suitable training and empowerment. This is one of the reasons we are coming up to help balance the situation. Many boy children are roaming the street without any hope of the future. Many of them have resulted in stealing and joining occult groups. They have become a problem in our society.
