Friends of Forge is a nonprofit organization founded in 2018 to financially support the work of Fondation Forge in Latin America. Fondation Forge has been founded in 2005 to provide better employment opportunities for youth from low-income neighborhoods. In 2021, Fondation Forge reached 10,581 youth in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay through its job preparation and placement program. 60 percent of the participants were young women. A total of 77 percent of the graduates of the job preparation and placement program successfully found a job.
