We envision a place where abilities are strengthened, where activities lead to self-confidence, and each person can experience life without limits. At EATSF, we have four dynamic programs that empower individuals with special needs through the power of horses. Therapeutic Riding, Unmounted Horsemanship, Hippotherapy, and Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy are made accessible to our participants through our scholarship program, ensuring that financial barriers don't stand in the way of progress and healing. The benefits of working with horses extend far beyond the basics of riding. Horses activate the senses in ways that engage and stimulate the brain. Participants experience improved balance, coordination, and spatial awareness as they adjust to the rhythmic movement of the horse, its varying speed, and changes in terrain. These experiences help activate critical neurological pathways and enhance mental focus, all while building resilience, strength, and emotional stability.
