Each year, an estimated 400,000 children and adolescents develop cancer, and nearly 9 in 10 live in low- and middle-income countries, where survival rates are far lower than in high-income settings. World Child Cancer works with hospitals, families and governments to improve care at every stage - from early diagnosis and treatment to support during and after cancer - so that every child with cancer has the chance to survive and thrive.
