Many places in Burkina Faso have obstacles that prevent kids from going to school, such as lack of infrastructure (rural access) , gender inequalities, child labour. ASND's primary objective is to promote education amongst the children and youth through the construction of new schools in remote areas and the development of sustainable infrastructure that allows children to go to school (i.e. roads, wells). In addition, ASND wants to nurture a sense of respect and responsibility for the preservation of the environment, starting from children in primary schools, and develop agricultural and ecological projects to promote the occupation of young people and their connection with nature. This crowdfunding is aimed at raising money to build a school in Bogoya in the Yatenga province for sixty children aged 6-8 years old. ASND got given a 2-hectare site from the leaders of the village to build the school. Now it's time to start the construction work. Why: there is no school in the village at all. The closest school is an Islamic school that only teaches kids the Koran. The children of the village deserve to receive good education and attend classes without having to walk for 3 hours.
