We provide them with technical support and while monitoring the implementation of the training skills as a proven strategy to reduce youth unemployment by creating sustainable youth development. We have listed our objectives of the organisation. Our first objective is to train the youth of Lesotho on ethical leadership and comprehensive life skills such as social and capital entrepreneurship, youth leadership empowerment, civic engagement, and participation. Our second objective is to create international youth support networks for Basotho youth to network. This networking allows the youth to gain new skills on how to handle issues affecting them such as unemployment, HIV/AIDS, sexual reproductive health, alcohol/ drug abuse and crime. Our third objective is to continue to raise awareness about child marriage and to help reduce it to 0% through collaboration with relevant ministries, media houses, community gatherings, learning institutions, sports tournament, and youth clubs. Our vision is to be part of the world where all African youth have the opportunity and capacity to participate fully in social, economic, health, education, and environmental factors for the benefit of all humanity. We have specific values that are highly maintained as an organisation. Our integral values are holding each member and participant accountable. We shall be held accountable for our actions whether for the good or the bad. Honesty is very important in order to have a successfully ran organization. With honesty, we can erode culture to zero tolerance of corruption. We have implemented resilience. We shall continue to exercise total resilience to diversions from our practice. Effectiveness and Efficiency are part of our commitment for providing timely, high quality services to our beneficiaries. We have a policy that everything is to be transparent to government, sponsors, and to the public at all times. Our job shall be open to criticism, scrutiny, and corrections. As we continue to have sustainability, we shall maintain high standard of service delivery. We are a proactive organization. We shall be a step ahead and shoot above the target in every project we implement. We are not one who waits to see what projects that need to be done after the cause. We look in advance to see where the projects are needed and then prioritize the projects based on the importance of the needs. We are target oriented that we serve African youth with passion and without prejudice. MFDF offers a variety of training and various programs to help the youth. We are working with the youth to help them create entrepreneurship. When the youth create a business then it helps empower them and helps to bring change in the community. Youth leadership is a vital need in an ever changing society. We are developing new leaders to help further develop society. We are very much aware of of the lack of nutritional advice given to the people. Community Health and Nutrition Programs are very much needed to continue for this nation to grow. Many youth are sick and dying that takes away needed talents that are lost because of the lack of information. This affects the development of a nation and also the economy. It deeply appals us about Gender Based Violence and Abuse against Adolescent and Youth. We are an organization that is out-spoken against this and are making youth and adolescents aware of their rights and advising them how to get proper help in needed situations. MFDF has begun with the implementation of a variety of COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS. MFDF International Volunteer Exchange Program (MFDF-IVEP) is in the beginning stages of implementation. (MFDF- IVEP) is a six (6) to eight (8) weeks maximum period program which takes place from EARLY- October to End-November every year and it provides MFDF members with Cultural discovery, Professional exchange and Experimental activities. According to the program, young people volunteer and exchange their cultural discovery, professional experiences and experimental skills where they separately live with a local young person or family. The program is monitored and evaluated by MFDF Country Program Manager and it is fully sponsored by MFDF, local and international sponsors. The program incurs only Transport allowance, Fieldwork allowance and Food Allowance for each delegated volunteer. Our second project that MFDF has begun to implement is MFDF 4 Youth Empowerment Program(4YEP) whereby we developed 4YEP Facilitators Training Manual which is intended for use by implementing agencies interested in establishing Intensive Skills Development and Ethical Leadership Training Programmes. The manual is primarily targeted for implementers working with young adults (Males and Females) from age of 15 to 35 years. In practice, this manual should serve as the framework for implementing and carrying out 4YEP curriculum which facilitators adapt to meet the needs of their particular sites. After the completion of the manual, participants are expected to work as 4YEP Facilitators in Training engaging in fieldwork in order to turn theory into practice and create sustainable youth development. We know many youth do not have a voice to be heard. The Voice for the Voiceless Program (TVV) was initiated to become their voice in matters that they need help in. Mosepele Foundation Lesotho's alliance with 4 independent entities: community leaders, police stations, support groups and civil society organizations to fight for community peace and justice, fundamental human rights, gender violence, women and children abuse. The main objective is to create UNITY through promotion of peace and justice among community members. Thusanang Bacha Community Development Project was needed project to face community issues. We mobilized many to combat these issues. After mobilizing different community councils of Lesotho since October 2013, Mosepele Foundation Lesotho has identified a common problem that is faced by adolescents and youth within these community councils. It realized social, financial, Health, Leadership, and Self-created problems that need a serious intervention hence it initiated Thusanang Bacha Community Development Project to tackle such prevailing problems in collaboration with other project implementing partners. The primary goal of the project was to empower the youth to unite and to help each other to face and solve their different problems with the help of a pair of professionals per community council. This was done in groups where the youth raised their problems in order to help each other on how that particular problem can be solved by using facilitated problem solving methods by the professionals. Help my Child Shape the Future Community Development Project was created to help the youth to plan long-term goals for life. Mosepele Foundation Lesotho believes in holistic problem solving with applied relevant skills and it partners with primary schools, high schools and higher learning institutions to implement this project. Primary teachers, high school Life skills subjects' teachers and higher learning institutions lecturers are the most considered individuals during the implementation, referrals and follow ups. The primary goal of the project is to facilitate students with holistic life skills programs at the early learning stage so as to realize their unique potentials that will help them to sustain life after school. Peer education program, Career Coaching program, Professional counselling, Foundational and Internal Motivational Speaking sessions and Bright future schools competitions are at the heart of Mosepele Foundation Lesotho during the implementation stage since they believe that these are enough personal development programs that can empower and shape the future of the young person. MFDF ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL EVENTS are held to further inform the people by inviting various speakers from a variety of backgrounds and from different countries. MFDF Annual SADC Youth-Meet Leadership Summit is held at the end of April of every year since MFDF became an organization. We continue to host MFDF Annual African Youth Convention 12th of August every year to recognize and celebrate the youth and by awarding them for making a diverse change in the life of the people in the communities.
