CJI focuses on the effects of climate change through education, research, developing sustainable and impactful programs by means of social, financial and educational programs as well as empowering and creating space for human, social, environmental, indigenous and women's rights. This initiative aims to address the effects of climate change within indigenous communities and peoples, particularly those most often left behind, to be more emboldened and resilient against the growing threat of climate change by creating access to resources; connecting communities; educating groups, individuals and communities and inspiring change while upholding and celebrating traditional value systems.
